Job summary

KinderCare Learning Companies is seeking a Lead Teacher to guide classrooms with a kid-first approach. You will model teaching, implement the curriculum, and foster a safe, engaging environment for every child.

Your role will include partnering with families to ensure exceptional care and education. You will collaborate with center staff and leadership to meet enrollment and accreditation goals, while building positive relationships with communities and program partners.

Qualifications

• Outstanding customer service and the ability to stay organized while managing multiple tasks.
• Active CDA Credential or meeting NAEYC candidacy requirements.
• Approved state trainer (preferred).
• 2–3 years of Early Childhood Education experience (preferred).
• Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education (preferred).
• Meet state-specific qualifications for the role or willingness to obtain them.
• CPR and First Aid Certification or willingness to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach and mentor less experienced teachers in your classroom; model behaviors and provide feedback.
• Implement KinderCare's curriculum in a way that aligns with each child’s unique needs.
• Create a safe, nurturing environment where children can play and learn.
• Partner and connect with parents to provide the best care and education for their children.
• Support the center’s success by collaborating with staff and leadership to achieve enrollment, accreditation, and engagement goals.
• Cultivate positive relationships with families, teachers, licensing authorities, community contacts, and corporate partners.
