Job summary

KinderCare Learning Companies is seeking a Lead Teacher to empower young learners in our classrooms. You will guide less experienced teachers, deliver our curriculum, and foster a safe, nurturing environment where children can play and learn.

You will also engage with families to support each child’s education and partner with center staff to drive enrollment and community engagement. We value teamwork and community, with a mission to build confident learners.

Qualifications

• Outstanding customer service and organizational abilities are required.
• Ability to multi-task and handle multiple situations effectively.
• Possess CDA Credential or be pursuing NAEYC candidacy.
• 2–3 years Early Childhood Education experience (preferred).
• Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education (preferred).
• Meet state specific qualifications or willingness to obtain.
• CPR and First Aid Certification or willingness to obtain.
• Read, write, understand, and speak English with children and parents.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and mentor teachers in your classroom.
• Implement KinderCare's curriculum in a way that is consistent with the unique needs of each child.
• Create a safe, nurturing environment where children can play and learn.
• Partner and connect with parents to support their children's education.
• Support your center’s success by partnering with staff and leadership on enrollment, accreditation and engagement.
• Cultivate positive relationships with families, teachers, licensing authorities, community contacts and corporate partners.
