KinderCare Learning Companies in Arlington Heights, IL is seeking a Lead Teacher to guide classrooms, mentor peers, and deliver our curriculum in ways that respect each child’s unique needs. You’ll partner with families to support development, help with enrollment goals, and maintain a safe, nurturing learning environment.

Required credentials include a Bachelor’s in Early Childhood Education, CDA or NAEYC candidacy, CPR/First Aid, and the ability to lift 40 pounds.

Qualifications

• Must have outstanding customer service and strong organizational skills.
• 2–3 years of early childhood education experience preferred.
• CDA credential or eligibility; state trainer approval preferred.
• Bachelor’s in ECE preferred; CPR/First Aid certification preferred.
• Ability to lift 40 pounds and work indoors or outdoors; English communication.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and mentor teachers in the classroom.
• Implement KinderCare's curriculum to fit each child’s needs.
• Create a safe, nurturing environment where children can learn and play.
• Partner with parents to support children's development.
• Support center goals around enrollment, accreditation, and engagement.
• Cultivate positive relationships with families, teachers, authorities, and partners.
