KinderCare Learning Companies in Washington, DC is seeking a Lead Teacher to guide and mentor teachers in your classroom, ensuring the KinderCare curriculum fits each child's needs and supports a safe, nurturing learning environment.

You will collaborate with parents, center staff, and leadership to achieve enrollment, accreditation, and engagement goals while building strong relationships with families and the community.

Formación

• Outstanding customer service and strong organizational skills.
• CDA Credential or NAEYC candidacy required or in progress.
• Approved state trainer (preferred).
• 2–3 years Early Childhood Education experience (preferred).
• Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education (preferred).
• CPR and First Aid certification or willingness to obtain.
• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds and work indoors or outdoors.
• Read, write, and speak English to communicate with children and their parents.

Responsabilidades

• Lead, coach and mentor less experienced teachers in your classroom; model behaviors and provide feedback.
• Implement KinderCare's curriculum in a way that is consistent with the unique needs of each child.
• Create a safe, nurturing environment where children can play and learn.
• Partner and connect with parents to provide the best care and education for their children.
• Support center success; collaborate with staff and leadership on enrollment, accreditation and engagement.
• Cultivate positive relationships with families, teachers, licensing authorities and community partners.
