KinderCare Learning Companies in Washington, DC is seeking a Lead Teacher to mentor fellow teachers, implement the center's curriculum, and create a safe, nurturing environment where children can learn and grow. You will partner with parents, support enrollment and accreditation goals, and work with center leadership to deliver high-quality early childhood education.

A CDA credential or pursuing NAEYC candidacy plus a degree in ECE is preferred; 2–3 years of experience helps you guide young

Qualifications

• Active CDA credential or pursuing NAEYC candidacy.
• Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education preferred.
• 2–3 years Early Childhood Education experience preferred.
• CPR and First Aid desirable.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach and mentor less experienced teachers in your classroom; model behaviors and give feedback.
• Implement KinderCare's curriculum consistent with each child’s needs.
• Create a safe, nurturing environment where children can play and learn.
• Partner with parents to provide the best care and education.
• Support center success; collaborate to meet enrollment and engagement goals.
• Foster relationships with families, teachers, licensing authorities and partners.
