Job summary

KinderCare Learning Companies is seeking a Lead Teacher to guide and mentor a classroom, delivering our curriculum in a way that fits each child’s needs. You’ll foster a safe, nurturing space for exploration and learning, and build strong partnerships with families to deliver exceptional care.

You’ll collaborate with center staff to support enrollment, accreditation, and engagement, while maintaining positive relationships with licensing authorities and community partners across our nationwide

Qualifications

• Outstanding customer service, strong organization, and multitasking.
• Hold or be pursuing CDA or meet NAEYC candidacy requirements.
• Approved state trainer preferred.
• 2–3 years Early Childhood Education experience preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education preferred.
• Meet state qualifications or willingness to obtain them.
• CPR/First Aid certification or willingness to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach and mentor less experienced teachers in the classroom.
• Implement KinderCare curriculum consistent with each child’s needs.
• Create a safe, nurturing environment where children can play and learn.
• Partner with parents to provide the best care and education.
• Support center goals around enrollment, accreditation and engagement.
• Cultivate positive relationships with families, staff, and community partners.
