Job summary

KinderCare Learning Companies is seeking a Lead Teacher in Illinois to guide classroom teams, implement our curriculum, and foster a safe, engaging learning environment. You will partner closely with families to support each child’s development and work with center leadership to meet enrollment and accreditation goals.

The role emphasizes mentorship, classroom leadership, and strong communication with parents, teachers, and licensing authorities to deliver high-quality early childhood education.

Qualifications

• Outstanding customer service and strong organizational skills.
• 2–3 years Early Childhood Education experience (preferred).
• Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education (preferred).
• Read, write, understand, and speak English to communicate with families.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach and mentor less experienced teachers in your classroom; model behaviors and provide feedback.
• Implement KinderCare’s curriculum in a way that is consistent with the unique needs of each child.
• Create a safe, nurturing environment where children can play and learn.
• Partner and connect with parents to provide the best care and education for their children.
• Support center’s success by partnering with staff and leadership to achieve enrollment, accreditation and engagement goals.
• Cultivate positive relationships with families, teachers, licensing authorities, community contacts and corporate partners.
