KinderCare Learning Companies is seeking a Lead Teacher in Illinois to mentor other teachers, implement the company's curriculum, and create a safe, engaging environment for children. You will partner with parents and center staff to drive enrollment and accreditation, while building strong community relationships.

The role emphasizes collaboration with families, licensing authorities, and corporate partners to deliver high-quality early education and care across centers.

Qualifications

• Outstanding customer service and organizational skills.
• 2–3 years Early Childhood Education experience.
• CDA Credential or NAEYC candidacy; state trainer preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification or willingness to obtain.
• English communication proficiency.
• Ability to lift 40 pounds and work indoors/outdoors.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach and mentor less experienced teachers in your classroom; model behaviors and provide feedback.
• Implement KinderCare curriculum in a way that is consistent with the unique needs of each child.
• Create a safe, nurturing environment where children can play and learn.
• Partner and connect with parents to provide the best care and education for their children.
• Support center success by partnering with staff and leadership to achieve enrollment, accreditation and engagement goals.
• Cultivate positive relationships with families, teachers, licensing authorities, community contacts and corporate partners.
