KinderCare Learning Companies is seeking a Lead Teacher in Illinois to guide and mentor classroom staff, implement the curriculum, and create a safe, engaging learning environment for young children.

You will collaborate with families and center leadership to support enrollment and program quality, while meeting state requirements and pursuing required certifications. This role offers strong growth in a supportive team setting.

Qualifications

• Outstanding customer service skills and strong organizational abilities.
• Possess active CDA credential or meet NAEYC candidacy requirements.
• Approved state trainer is preferred.
• 2–3 years Early Childhood Education experience preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education preferred.
• Meet state specific qualifications for the role or willingness to obtain.
• CPR and First Aid certification or willingness to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach and mentor less experienced teachers in your classroom; model behaviors and provide feedback.
• Implement KinderCare's curriculum in a way that fits the needs of each child.
• Create a safe, nurturing environment where children can play and learn.
• Partner and connect with parents to provide the best care and education.
• Support center goals around enrollment, accreditation, and engagement.
• Cultivate positive relationships with families, teachers, and regulatory authorities.
