Job summary

KinderCare Learning Companies in Lock Haven, PA is seeking a Lead Teacher to implement our curriculum, create a safe, nurturing environment, and foster confident, curious learners. You will partner with families, mentor teammates, support enrollment goals, and uphold high standards of care.

Qualifications

• Outstanding customer service and organizational skills, multi-tasking ability.
• Active Child Development Associate (CDA) Credential or NAEYC candidacy.
• Approved state trainer (preferred).
• 2–3 years Early Childhood Education experience (preferred).
• Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education (preferred).
• Meet state-specific qualifications or willingness to obtain.
• CPR and First Aid Certification or willingness to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach and mentor teachers in your classroom.
• Implement KinderCare curriculum per child needs.
• Create a safe, nurturing environment for children to play and learn.
• Partner with parents to support child care and education goals.
• Support center success, enrollment, accreditation and engagement.
• Cultivate relationships with families, teachers, licensing authorities and community partners.
