Job summary

KinderCare Learning Companies is seeking a Lead Teacher to guide and mentor teachers, implement the center’s curriculum, and create a safe, nurturing space for children to grow and learn. You will partner with parents to ensure the best possible care and education while supporting center goals around enrollment and accreditation.

Qualifications

• Outstanding customer service, organization, and ability to multi-task.
• Active CDA Credential or meet NAEYC candidacy requirements.
• Approved state trainer preferred.
• 2-3 years early childhood education experience preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education preferred.
• Meet state qualifications for the role or willingness to obtain.
• CPR and First Aid certification or willingness to obtain.
• Use a computer; lift up to 40 pounds; indoors or outdoors.
• Communicate in English with children and parents.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach and mentor teachers in the classroom with feedback.
• Implement curriculum consistent with each child's needs.
• Create a safe, nurturing environment for play and learning.
• Partner with parents to provide best care and education.
• Support center goals around enrollment, accreditation, and engagement.
• Build positive relationships with families, teachers, and community partners.
