Job summary

KinderCare Learning Companies in Illinois is seeking a Lead Teacher to guide and mentor fellow teachers, deliver our curriculum, and create a safe, engaging classroom where children can learn and grow.

You will partner with parents and center staff to support enrollment and accreditation goals, while benefiting from discounted child care, comprehensive health benefits, and a commitment to work-life balance.

Qualifications

• Outstanding customer service and strong communication with families.
• Excellent organizational skills with ability to multi-task in a busy classroom.
• Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education preferred; state qualifications may apply.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach and mentor less experienced teachers in your classroom; model behaviors and provide feedback.
• Implement KinderCare's curriculum in a way that is consistent with the unique needs of each child.
• Create a safe, nurturing environment where children can play and learn.
• Partner and connect with parents to support child development and education.
• Support center success by collaborating with staff and leadership on enrollment, accreditation and engagement.
• Cultivate positive relationships with families, teachers, licensing authorities, community contacts and partners.
