Job summary

KinderCare Learning Companies in Elk Grove Village, IL, is hiring a Lead Teacher to support and mentor classroom staff. You will implement our curriculum, create a safe learning environment, and collaborate with families to provide top-quality care and education.

The role requires strong customer service, organizational skills, CDA credential or NAEYC candidacy, and 2–3 years of ECE experience. CPR/First Aid certification or willingness to obtain is preferred.

Qualifications

• Outstanding customer service skills and strong organizational abilities.
• Active CDA credential or NAEYC candidacy.
• 2–3 years of Early Childhood Education experience (preferred).
• Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education (preferred).
• CPR and First Aid certification or willingness to obtain.
• Proficient with computers; ability to lift up to 40 pounds; indoor/outdoor work.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach and mentor less experienced teachers in your classroom; model behaviors and provide feedback.
• Implement KinderCare's curriculum aligned with each child’s needs.
• Create a safe, nurturing learning environment.
• Engage with parents to support children’s education.
• Support center goals around enrollment, accreditation and engagement.
• Build positive relationships with families, teachers, licensing authorities and partners.
