Qualifications

• Associate degree or higher in early childhood education, or related field.

• Public school teaching certification for birth–8 years is preferred.
• Minimum 6 months early childhood education experience.
• Candidate must be at least 19 years old.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and interact with young children in classroom and on playground.
• Plan and implement hands‑on activities aligned with developmental goals.
• Develop monthly lesson plans and document progress.
• Supervise teachers and volunteers, and communicate expectations clearly.
• Engage with parents to share information and support child development.

Education

Associate degree or higher in early childhood education or related field

Bachelor’s degree or higher in an alternative field with at least 36 credits in early childhood

State public school certification to practice as a teacher for birth to 8 years

Minimum 6 months early childhood education experience

Must be at least 19 years of age
