Job summary

KinderCare Learning Companies is seeking a Lead Teacher to mentor peers, implement our curriculum, and create a safe environment for young learners. You’ll collaborate with families to support each child’s growth and engage with center leadership to drive enrollment and quality initiatives.

The role emphasizes building strong relationships with children, families, and regulatory bodies, while maintaining a focus on safety, development, and inclusive education.

Qualifications

• Outstanding customer service and organizational skills.
• Ability to multi-task and handle multiple situations.
• Possess or be willing to obtain a CDA Credential or NAEYC candidacy.
• 2–3 years Early Childhood Education experience preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education preferred.
• Willingness to meet state-specific qualifications and obtain certifications.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach and mentor less experienced teachers in the classroom.
• Implement KinderCare curriculum per each child’s needs.
• Create a safe, nurturing environment for play and learning.
• Partner with parents to support children's education and development.
• Support center goals around enrollment, accreditation and engagement.
• Build positive relationships with families, teachers, licensing authorities, and community partners.
