Job summary

KinderCare Learning Companies is seeking a Lead Teacher to guide classrooms, mentor peers, and connect with families to support children’s learning and development.

You will implement the KinderCare curriculum, create a safe, nurturing environment, and collaborate with center staff to achieve enrollment and quality goals while maintaining compliance with state licensing. This role requires empathy, strong communication, and the ability to balance supervision with hands-on work.

Qualifications

• Must have outstanding customer service and organizational abilities.
• Must meet state-specific qualifications or be willing to obtain.
• CPR and First Aid certification or willingness to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach and mentor less experienced teachers in your classroom; model behaviors and provide feedback
• Implement KinderCare's curriculum in a way that is consistent with the unique needs of each child
• Create a safe, nurturing environment where children can play and learn
• Partner and connect with parents, with a shared desire to provide the best care and education for their children
• Support your center’s success; partner with center staff and leadership to achieve goals around enrollment, accreditation, and engagement
• Cultivate positive relationships with families, teachers, state licensing authorities, community contacts and corporate partners
