Job summary

UCP of Central Florida is seeking an Educational Assistant to support PreK students with and without disabilities across multiple campuses in Orlando. You will implement lesson plans, help prepare instructional materials, administer assessments, document progress, and support classroom management while maintaining communication with staff and families.

• Experience with young children with special needs in a multi-disciplinary setting preferred

Responsibilities

• Implement lesson plans and instructional groups as directed
• Assist in preparing instructional materials and setting up activities
• Administer assessments and monitor programs
• Document academic progress through observations and data collection
• Support behavior management and data collection in the classroom
• Cover teacher duties when needed
• Attend trainings and required meetings and events
• Provide caretaking duties and maintain classroom cleanliness
• Maintain positive communication with staff and parents
• Ensure compliance with regulations and company policies
• Perform other duties as assigned
