Job summary

UCP of Central Florida is seeking an After School Enrichment Program Assistant to support 12–18 students aged 3–11 with academic, fitness, arts/music and STEM enrichment.

You will organize materials, deliver lesson plans, supervise activities, and ensure safety while fostering curiosity and discovery. Basic caregiving and communication with parents are part of the role.

Qualifications

• Strong classroom management and organization skills are required.
• Experience with students with and without disabilities in classroom or recreational settings.
• Experience with arts/music and STEM activities is preferred.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills expected.

Responsibilities

• Organize daily materials and deliver After School lesson plans.
• Supervise groups of 12–18 students and manage schedules for large, small, and individual activities.
• Apply classroom management strategies to ensure safety and well-being.
• Document attendance via Brightwheel and communicate parent concerns to Site Coordinator.
• Provide basic caregiving duties and perform other duties as assigned.

UCP of Central Florida unlocks the potential of thousands of children each year at our campuses, pediatric therapy clinics and parent support programs.Job Summary:The After School Enrichment Program Assistant supports a group of 12-18 students (ages 3-11 years) in providing academic, fitness, arts/music and STEM enrichment activities during UCP After School Enrichment Program.Organize daily materials for all lessons & activities, deliver UCP After School lesson plans, facilitate the daily program schedule for group of students.Supervise and engage with group of students – monitor and assist children during large group, small group and individual instruction.Implement effective classroom management strategies to ensure the attention, safety and well-being of all students.
