Building Blocks for Tots in Wilson is a licensed childcare center seeking Lead Teachers to support the following age groups!

• Infants
• Toddlers

To be QUALIFIED for this position, we require a high school diploma, completion of EDU 119, and the ability to pass all background checks. a plus if you have previous experience working with infants or toddlers!

Required Shift: Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm

Compensation: $16-17/hr, based on education and experience

• Lead all aspects of the classroom in a manner consistent with the philosophy and goals of the center.
• Implement activitiesthatencourage each child’s growth in the areas of emotion, social, cognitive, creative,and physical development.
• Take direction, accept constructive criticism,and feedback, and make improvements and changes as necessary for the betterment of the quality of the program.
• Createand maintain an environment that is clean and safe for all children.
• Establishing a professional level of rapport with each family to provide quality care for the children.
• Physical ability to work around small children including sitting, standing, walking, running,and climbing stairs.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 40 lbs. and fulfill all physical requirements of the role.
