Job summary

Principal Responsibilities:

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Teacher to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will have experience working with children from infancy through Pre‑K in a classroom setting and possess strong skills in classroom management and curriculum development. This role involves educating young minds, fostering a positive learning environment, and implementing engaging lesson plans tailored to the needs of preschool children.

Duties
  • Develop and implement age‑appropriate lesson plans with direction that align with our vision and educational standards.
  • Manage classroom behavior effectively to create a conducive learning environment.
  • Foster a nurturing atmosphere that encourages students' social, emotional, and intellectual growth.
  • Conduct assessments to evaluate student progress and adapt teaching methods accordingly.
  • Collaborate with parents and guardians to support student development.
  • Engage in ongoing professional development to enhance teaching practices.
  • Maintain a safe and organized classroom space.
  • Ability to take charge and work together with the Teacher Assistants to maintain a cohesive classroom setting based on teamwork.
Minimum Qualifications:
  • Experience working with students in an educational or childcare setting is preferred.
  • Strong classroom management skills to maintain discipline while promoting a positive learning environment.
  • Knowledge of curriculum development and lesson planning techniques.
  • Ability to educate preschool‑aged children effectively, using creative and engaging methods.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact with students, parents, and colleagues.
  • A degree in Education or a related field is preferred but not mandatory.
