Heartfelt Impressions in Lake Orion, MI seeks an Assistant Infant Teacher who is compassionate, dependable and ready to collaborate with the Lead Teacher to foster safe, nurturing growth for infants using the High Scope curriculum. In this regular full-time role, you’ll support daily routines, assist with age-appropriate activities, and contribute to a caring classroom community.

Qualifications

• At least 18 years of age.
• CDA credential preferred, may be obtained within 12 months of hire.
• Degree in Early Childhood Education or related field preferred.
• Prior experience with infants in a classroom setting preferred.
• Dependable with reliable transportation.
• Consent to Background screening including fingerprinting.

• Status: Regular, full-time (40 hours per week)
• Schedule: Days, Monday-Friday, 8-hour shifts
• Pay range $16-$19/hour, based on certification or degree and years of experience
• Location: Onsite, Lake Orion, Michigan

As an Assistant Infant Teacher, you will work in collaboration with and in support of the Lead Teacher to create a safe, nurturing and interactive environment that fosters age-appropriate learning utilizing the High Scope curriculum.

• You must be at least 18 years of age
• A Child Development Associate (CDA) credential preferred, may be obtained within 12 months of hire
• A degree in Early Childhood Education or related field (preferred)
• Prior experience as a Nanny or working with Infants in the classroom setting (preferred)
• Dependable with reliable transportation
