Job summary

Heartfelt Impressions Learning Centers in Lake Orion, MI is seeking an Assistant Infant Teacher to partner with the Lead Teacher in a warm, nurturing infant classroom. You’ll support social, emotional and developmental growth using the High Scope curriculum in a safe, engaging environment.

Requirements include being at least 18, with CDA preferred and a degree in Early Childhood Education preferred. Prior infant experience, dependable transportation, and ability to pass a background check are

• Degree in Early Childhood Education or related field preferred.
• Prior experience as a nanny or working with infants in a classroom setting preferred.
• Dependable with reliable transportation.

In this role, you’ll partner with the Lead Teacher to provide attentive, nurturing care while supporting each infant’s social, emotional, physical, and developmental growth. • Status: Regular, full-time (40 hours per week)
• Schedule: Days, Monday-Friday, 8-hour shifts
• Pay range $16-$19/hour, based on certification or degree and years of experience
• Location: Onsite, Lake Orion, Michigan

As an Assistant Infant Teacher, you will work in collaboration with and in support of the Lead Teacher to create a safe, nurturing and interactive environment that fosters age-appropriate learning utilizing the High Scope curriculum.

• You must be at least 18 years of age
• A Child Development Associate (CDA) credential preferred, may be obtained within 12 months of hire
• A degree in Early Childhood Education or related field (preferred)
• Prior experience as a Nanny or working with Infants in the classroom setting (preferred)
