Job summary

scribbles Center for Learning in Bloomington is seeking a Lead Teacher for a Young Preschool classroom. This full-time role runs Monday through Friday, 8am to 5pm, and requires a CDA or at least six ECE college credits, plus ability to pass background checks.

Responsibilities

• Lead classroom in all aspects, in a manner consistent with the philosophy and goals of the center.
• Implement activities that encourage each child’s growth in the areas of emotion, social, cognitive, creative, and physical development.
• Take direction, accept constructive criticism, and feedback, and make improvements and changes as necessary for the betterment of the quality of the program.
• Create and maintain an environment that is clean and safe for all children.
• Establishing a professional level of rapport with each family to provide quality care for the children.
• Physical ability to work around small children including sitting, standing, walking, running, and climbing stairs.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 40 lbs. and fulfill all physical requirements of the role.

Age groups: Young Preschool
