Job summary

Scribbles Center for Learning in Bloomington, IL is seeking a Lead Teacher for Young Preschool. The role requires a Lead Teacher Qualification (CDA or at least 6 ECE college level credits) and the ability to pass all background checks.

The position runs Monday through Friday, 8am–5pm, with compensation of $18–$18.50 per hour based on education and experience. We offer competitive pay, benefits, and a supportive team environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead classroom in all aspects, in a manner consistent with the philosophy and goals of the center.
• Implement activities that support growth in emotional, social, cognitive, creative, and physical development.
• Take direction, accept feedback, and make improvements for program quality.
• Create and maintain a clean and safe environment for all children.
• Establish professional rapport with families to provide quality care.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 40 lbs. and work around small children.
