Job summary

210_Mohegan_Pocono Downs Racing, LP is seeking a Pit Manager/Floor Supervisor to oversee day-to-day operation of table games and poker, including training and supervising staff, and ensuring security and integrity of games in a high-volume casino environment.

The role requires supervisory experience in multiple games, strong guest service and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work flexible shifts in a Rhode Island casino setting.

Qualifications

• Two years supervisory experience in three of the six primary games (Blackjack, Pai Gow Poker, Craps, Baccarat, Roulette or Poker) plus one year dealing three of the six primary games, or equivalent Pit Manager experience in a high-volume casino.
• Additionally, one year Craps dealing experience is required.
• Must be able to work varied shifts and flexible hours.

Responsibilities

• Assists the Shift Managers with day-to-day operation of table games and poker, including training, counseling and supervision of team members.
• Supervises and secures all games in the assigned gaming area.
• Ensures security of table games and equipment and maintains communication with Surveillance.
• Maintains accuracy and integrity of the player rating system.
• Keeps Scheduling Department informed of changes and checks pit time starts weekly.
• Enforces PGCB rules, internal controls, and department policies.
• Keeps other departments informed of developments affecting their function.
• Monitors business demands and makes necessary adjustments.
• Provides guest service, addressing customer issues professionally.
• Provides employee services, addressing employee-related issues professionally.
• Schedules Floor Supervisor assignments and performs related duties.
