Job summary

Mohegan Pocono Downs Racing, LP is seeking an experienced Table Games Manager to oversee the day-to-day operation of table games, including training, counseling and supervision of team members, and to manage point adjustments, PGCB notifications, and player tournaments on the casino floor.

You will collaborate with the Table Games Manager and Shift Managers on scheduling, enforce PGCB rules, and strive to maintain high morale and exceptional guest service while promoting the approved comp

Qualifications

• Two years experience as a Table Games Manager in a high volume, complex casino environment.
• Experience and knowledge of Blackjack, Baccarat, Roulette, Craps and Poker.
• Knowledge of card counting systems.
• Experience in the budget and planning process.
• Ability to work various shifts and flexible hours.

Responsibilities

• Oversees the day-to-day operation of table games, including training, counseling and supervision.
• Directly responsible for all point adjustments, PGCB notifications and player tournaments.
• Oversees the casino floor including table games and poker.
• Oversees departmental oversight including budget planning, dealer school, amendments, handbooks, training guides, reporting.
• Coordinates scheduling with Table Games Manager and Shift Managers; administers counseling and attendance.
• Enforces PGCB rules; maintains high employee morale built on trust and teamwork.
• Delivers entertaining guest experiences and promotes superior guest service.
• Extends complementary services per approved comp matrix.

Job Duties

Oversees the day-to-day operation of table games to include training, counseling and supervision of team members. Directly responsible for all point adjustments, PGCB notifications and player tournaments. Oversees the entire casino floor to include table games and poker.

Responsible for all departmental oversight including budget planning and preparation, table games dealer school, table games amendments, handbooks, training guides, departmental reporting, etc.

Works directly with the Table Games Manager and Shift Managers on scheduling issues, reviews and administers counseling, attendance and other forms of company issued documentation.

Enforces PGCB rules and regulations. Strives to maintain high employee morale by building a climate based upon trust, respect and teamwork.

Provides an entertaining, exciting and memorable guest experience. Performs other related duties as assigned. Must possess excellent inter-personal skills with an ability to foster a supportive and enabling team environment. Promotes superior guest service. Has the ability to extend complementary services in accordance with the approved comp matrix.

Minimum Qualifications

• Two years experience as a Table Games Manager in a high volume, complex casino environment.
• Must have combined experience and knowledge of Blackjack, Baccarat, Roulette, Craps and Poker.
• Must be experienced and knowledgeable about card counting systems.
• Must be experienced in the budget and planning process.
