Job summary

Textron Systems in Hunt Valley, MD, seeks a mid-senior Systems Test Engineer to join the Simulation and Training Team. You will lead test planning, design, and execution for hardware, software, and systems, and manage defects while collaborating with developers and program managers to meet customer specifications.

The role requires 5+ years of engineering experience (or 3+ with a master's) and knowledge of DOORS, JIRA, and MagicDraw, plus strong writing and presentation skills.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of engineering experience (or 3+ with a master) in test engineering.
• Experience with hardware/software integration and requirements allocation.
• Familiar with DOORS, JIRA, and MagicDraw preferred.
• Strong written and presentation skills; ability to lead teams.
• Active Secret clearance preferred; Secret eligibility required.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, development, and execution of tests for hardware, software, and systems.
• Create test plans, write test cases, identify defects, and drive fixes.
• Lead test planning, design, and procedures for programs.
• Coordinate with developers, engineers, and management for quality.
• Present test results to internal review teams and customers.
• Travel up to 15% as required.
