Textron Systems is hiring an entry-level Systems Engineer in Hunt Valley, Maryland. You’ll work across an interdisciplinary team to support the full life cycle of systems, perform requirements analysis, and help develop architecture models to derive requirements.

Ideal candidates are pursuing or have completed degrees in related fields, with exposure to MBSE tools like DOORS, JIRA, or MagicDraw. Travel up to 15% and a US citizenship with ability to obtain a security clearance are required.

Qualifications

• Pursuing or completed bachelor’s or master’s in systems engineering, electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, computer science, software engineering, or another physical science.
• Experience with DOORS, JIRA, MagicDraw (or equivalent) and model-based systems engineering is a plus
• Ability to travel up to 15%
• U.S. citizen with ability to obtain a security clearance

Responsibilities

• Working in an interdisciplinary role, enabling the full life cycle of successful systems
• Performing requirements analysis to understand customer needs
• Developing architecture models to support requirements development and derivation
• Using requirements management and test tools to decompose program requirements
• Supporting integration and test of system components
• Developing plans and procedures for integration and test to verify product integration
• Performing analysis of data extracted from testing
