Job summary

Seneca Resources Company, LLC seeks a Lead Desktop / Client Server Engineer to manage a team responsible for Windows Server, VMware infrastructure, Active Directory, and VDI environments. The role ensures stability, security, and efficiency of enterprise IT operations while contributing to service management and governance.

The candidate will lead, mentor, and coordinate a team of engineers and system administrators, with deep experience in Windows Server (2012–2022), VMware vSphere and Horizon,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, or a related field from an accredited college or university, or equivalent work experience.
• 10+ years of experience in Desktop / Client Server Engineering, system administration, or a related IT infrastructure discipline.
• 3+ years of experience in a management or team lead role overseeing system engineers and/or system administrators.
• Top Secret clearance is required with the ability to acquire an SCI.

Responsibilities

• Oversee provisioning, installation, and support of Windows Server, VMware infrastructure, and VDI environments.
• Provide technical leadership to a team of system engineers and administrators.
• Contribute to IT governance, incident, problem, change, and asset management processes.
