Job summary

EPS Corporation seeks a Lead SSC Technician – Systems Administrator to oversee the Server Support Center operations and coordinate task orders in a DoD‑aligned environment. You will install, configure, and maintain critical servers within VMware environments, ensuring readiness and uptime.

Qualified candidates bring senior server support experience, strong AD/Windows Server knowledge, ITIL practices, and DoD 8140/8570 related credentials.

Qualifications

• Senior-level server support experience in government and intel networks.
• Strong knowledge of Active Directory, Windows Server, VMware and vSphere.
• Familiarity with DoD policies, ITIL practices and DoD 8140/8570 baseline certs.

Responsibilities

• Provide operational support to the SSC, oversee task orders, weekly reporting, and policy adherence.
• Install, configure, administer, and maintain mission-critical servers within VMware environments.
• Monitor performance, manage resources, troubleshoot issues, and ensure continuous availability.
• Perform patch management, STIG compliance, backups, and disaster recovery validation.
• Manage user accounts, access controls, and coordinate with CSL for audits and incidents.
• Document maintenance and changes per change/configuration control processes.
