Job summary

Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems seeks a Systems Modeling Simulation Engineer (T02) or Principal (T03) to lead a team in Melbourne, FL or San Diego, CA. You will model, analyze and forecast readiness, obsolescence and cost, supporting weapon system health and future tech directions.

The role demands strong communication and writing skills, experience with Tableau, R, Python and related tools, and the ability to obtain a US government security clearance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in STEM with related experience or program access requirements.
• Experience with data analytics and modeling tools is preferred.
• Ability to obtain and maintain US Government security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Manage a team performing research, modeling and analysis of diverse system types.
• Develop requirements, refine them, and influence pursuit of future technologies.
• Conduct Readiness, Obsolescence, LOR, Cost and Business Case analyses.
• Perform Cost per Flight Hour analyses and related metrics.
• Communicate findings clearly to leadership and stakeholders.
