Job summary

Northrop Grumman - Launch Systems in Chandler, AZ is seeking a Systems Engineer to lead an Integrated Product Team (IPT) and steer system architecture for a new missile/flight-vehicle program. You will direct technical teams across GNC, avionics, propulsion, structures, software, and I&T to ensure coherent design and successful program execution.

The role requires strong leadership, experience with EVMS, CAM, and MBSE, and the ability to manage cost, schedule, and risk in a high-visibility

Qualifications

• Experience leading technical teams on complex aerospace programs.
• Proven ability to lead Integrated Product Teams (IPTs) across disciplines.
• Strong understanding of systems engineering processes and MBSE methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Lead system-level trade studies to support architecture decisions for missile/launch systems.
• Develop and baseline ICDs including mechanical, electrical, data, and software interfaces.
• Apply MBSE to capture requirements, architecture, behaviors, and verification/validation plans.
