Job summary

Northrop Grumman in Chandler, AZ is seeking a Systems Engineer Level 4 for the Airframe IPT Lead to guide multi-disciplinary teams in the design, integration, and delivery of airframe components for hypersonic environments. You will own the schedule, cost, and EVMS, supervise design releases, and ensure mass targets are met while coordinating with domestic partners and government customers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics, or related technical field.
• Advanced degrees with relevant experience are preferred for senior roles.
• Experience with DoD systems engineering requirements and IPT leadership.

Responsibilities

• Lead airframe IPT and oversee design, manufacturing, and test planning for airframe maturity.
• Own the Integrated Master Schedule and EVMS to balance schedule, cost, and resources.
• Act as the technical authority for mass allocation and ensure alignment with mass targets.
• Oversee design releases to support procurement readiness and timely deliveries.
• Coordinate maturation events and maintain a systems-thinking view across the program.
