Job summary

Cyngn, headquartered in Mountain View, CA, is building autonomous tuggers deployed in North America. The role oversees turning vehicle requirements into robust test strategies, instrumented campaigns, and reliability programs to ensure safety and manufacturability.

You will lead safety validation, coordinate with labs for regulatory evidence, and drive the test infrastructure from fixtures to automated data logging, supporting production handoffs and field deployment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Systems or Robotics Engineering (or equivalent).
• 7+ years in system integration and test of vehicles or robots.
• Fluent with vehicle instrumentation and data logging.
• Experience with functional safety standards and third-party labs.

Responsibilities

• Turn requirements and verification plans into test strategy and instrumented campaigns across EVT, DVT and PVT.
• Stand up reliability program including duty-cycle profiles and HALT planning.
• Instrument prototype vehicles and produce pass/fail/root-cause reports.
