Motorola Solutions, via its Silvus Technologies subsidiary in Irvine, seeks a Principal System Integration and Test Engineer for on-site work. You will drive system integration, test engineering, and cross-functional collaboration with engineering and sales teams to enable cutting-edge solutions.

The role requires a strong background in embedded firmware, C/C++, Linux, and scripting, plus travel up to 25% and U.S. citizenship. Compensation ranges from $180,000 to $220,000 annually.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree plus minimum 10 years in embedded firmware development and testing, scripting, embedded Linux, C/C++, and python.
• Proficiency with lab instruments such as signal generators, spectrum analyzers, and logic analyzers.
• Willingness to travel and work at customer sites.
• Must be a U.S. Citizen due to clients under U.S. government contracts.
• Employment is contingent upon background check and drug test.

Responsabilidades

• Design and test complete solutions using Silvus HW and SW products.
• Prepare integration test plans and execute them, including firmware/hardware testing.
• Define new products and features and conduct evaluations and field tests.
• Respond to internal teams and customers with debugging, analysis, and support.
• Test and harden features via firmware and hardware changes in real applications.
• Support Sales Engineering with demos, training, testing, and bug recreation.
• Create and maintain customer-facing documents and content for support.
