Job summary
L3Harris Technologies is seeking a Lead Systems Engineer in Carlsbad, CA to lead the design and integration of Tactical Data Link (TDL) solutions for the MIDS JTRS program. You will guide cross-functional teams and partner with customers to ensure system-level requirements are met and risks are managed.
The role requires a strong background in communications systems, extensive systems engineering experience, and the ability to communicate complex concepts clearly to technical and non-technical
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in EE, CS, Systems Eng, or related field with 9 years of systems experience.
- Active US Secret security clearance required.
- Experience in systems engineering, systems integration, or related technical work.
- Understanding of electrical/hardware ICD documents and interface control
Responsibilities
- Lead systems engineering activities and direct program work.
- Provide technical guidance across design, integration, and troubleshooting.
- Develop and deliver technical briefings for leadership and customers.
- Oversee development and testing of TDL software, hardware, and systems.
- Maintain equipment inventory and support business development
