Job summary

L3Harris Technologies seeks a Manager, Field Engineering in Carlsbad, CA to lead the Tactical Data Links (TDL) Field Service Engineering team. You will plan and execute FSE responsibilities for Link 16 products, including platform integration, demonstrations, and customer training.

The role requires Link 16 expertise, strong organization, and excellent communication. Travel up to 10% domestically or internationally, with potential access to DoD facilities and security clearances.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 9 years related experience; or Graduate Degree with 7 years; in lieu of degree, 13 years experience.
• Strong Link 16 TDL systems knowledge and platform integration experience.
• Travel up to 10% and ability to obtain DoD clearance.

Responsibilities

• Lead the TDL FSE team for onsite integration support on MIDS and NGEN TDL products.
• Execute TDL product demonstrations at customer events and trade shows.
• Coordinate maintenance, procurement, and tracking of demo assets.
• Coordinate customer training for TDL products including curriculum generation and delivery.
• Serve as customer focal point for RFIs and technical inquiries.
• Manage a geographically dispersed team through planning and resource analysis.
