Job summary

Raytheon is hiring a Senior Systems Engineer – Section Responsible Systems Engineer to join our Tucson, AZ team in the Advanced Technology Effectors System Engineering Department. You will lead the effort to update and maintain system and subsystem level requirements and act as the technical lead for verification and qualification testing.

This onsite role requires collaboration with Systems and Hardware teams, and you will mentor junior engineers while engaging with the Chief Engineer on

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM).
• Minimum 5 years of relevant Systems Engineering experience.
• Experience with system requirements, verification, and testing.

Responsibilities

• Lead updates to system and subsystem requirements.
• SE technical lead for verification and validation.
• Collaborate with Systems and Hardware IPTLs and Chief Engineer on program tasks.
• Lead Systems Verification Reviews with leadership.
• Mentor new team members in core Systems Engineering skills.
