Job summary

T-Mobile USA, Inc. is seeking a Principal Engineer to lead, design, build, and deploy scalable software solutions for highly available systems.

You will collaborate with engineers to develop components using design techniques such as system design, virtualization, SDN/NFV, and big data. The role emphasizes independent judgment, reliable integration, and alignment with business goals and technical requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Computer Science (Required)
• 7–10 years of Technical engineering experience (Required)
• Telecom Billing Domain experience (Preferred)

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and validation of network systems to maximize reliability, performance, and cost efficiency
• Develop and maintain technical documentation and presentations to communicate design benefits to diverse audiences
• Drive engineering projects by applying techniques, conducting tests, and supervising engineering teams to meet objectives
• Analyze and implement technology improvements to optimize network processes and support business requirements
• Monitor industry technologies and standards to inform design decisions and influence organizational technology strategies
• Evaluate new and existing technologies to align with business goals and support network evolution
• Also responsible for other duties/projects as assigned by business management as needed
