Job summary

Adaptive Solutions Group is seeking a Lead Systems Engineer in the St. Louis area to drive strategy and leadership across enterprise collaboration platforms.

You will own long-term roadmaps for productivity tools, lead senior technical initiatives, and mentor multiple engineering teams to deliver secure, scalable solutions. The role requires deep Microsoft ecosystem expertise, strong communication, and governance experience to ensure resilient platforms and effective user adoption.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of IT engineering experience.
• Experience leading cross-functional technology initiatives.
• Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
• Must reside in the St. Louis, Missouri area.
• Strong knowledge of security, resilience, disaster recovery, and governance best practices.
• Experience mentoring engineers and providing technical leadership across multiple teams.

Responsibilities

• Define and execute long-term strategy, governance, and roadmaps for enterprise productivity and collaboration platforms.
• Lead as senior technical SME for Microsoft and collaboration technologies.
• Lead large-scale initiatives involving Microsoft 365, Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint Online, Entra ID, and related tools.
• Collaborate with architecture, security, engineering, and business to deliver secure, scalable solutions.
• Establish engineering standards and governance for collaboration platforms.
• Provide technical leadership, mentoring, and coaching across projects.
• Evaluate emerging technologies to improve productivity and user experience.
• Partner with vendors to maximize platform capabilities and drive strategic outcomes.
• Ensure security, governance, resilience, and recovery requirements are incorporated.
