Job summary

Phoenix Defense LLC is seeking a Senior Systems Engineer / Lead Engineer to act as the program's primary technical representative and lead across systems and software engineering activities. You will coordinate closely with government leadership, direct engineering teams, and ensure alignment with program objectives in planning, integration, testing, and execution.

The role requires strong MBSE capability, SysML proficiency, and experience with JSE environments; security clearances are required

Qualifications

Master's or higher in engineering and 8+ years in the field.
Bachelor's in engineering with 12+ years in the field.
Secret clearance required; Top Secret desired; eligible for TS.

Responsibilities

Serve as primary technical point of contact between contractor and government leadership.
Provide technical leadership across systems engineering, software engineering, model integration, and test activities.
Lead architecture development and interface definitions.
Develop system-of-systems architectures using SysML/UML and MBSE tools.
Lead system requirements analysis, decomposition, traceability, and verification.
