The role involves leading systems engineering activities for medium-caliber gun systems, coordinating with engineering, manufacturing, and quality teams to meet performance, cost, and schedule targets. The position requires a BS in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering with 5+ years of related experience, strong communication skills, and experience with design

Qualifications

• BS in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering or closely related STEM field.
• 5+ years of directly related mechanical design experience in defense/aerospace.
• Experience with DFA/DFM and Six Sigma.
• Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration.

Responsabilités

• Accountable to Systems Engineering Manager and Program Managers for PM/technical performance.
• Provide technical oversight to the integrated project team and assign tasks.
• Plan and execute gun system development and testing activities, manage risks.
• Coordinate with design, manufacturing and quality to ensure timely information flow.
