Northrop Grumman Corp. is seeking a Sr. Principal Systems Engineer (Level 4) to lead systems and technical activities onsite in Mesa, AZ. You will own the lifecycle from requirements to hardware integration, ensuring safety and performance of medium caliber gun systems while interfacing with customers and cross-functional teams.

The role emphasizes technical leadership, trade studies, verification planning, and rigorous documentation. U.S. citizenship and DoD clearance eligibility are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master’s degree with 6+–8+ years of relevant engineering experience.
• U.S. Citizenship and eligibility to obtain a DoD Secret Clearance.
• Experience in aerospace/defense system development and integration.

Responsabilités

• Define & decompose requirements into actionable work packages.
• Create and maintain system design documentation and interface control.
• Lead architecture definition and interface control documents.
• Manage configuration items and baseline control with change boards.
• Serve as customer-facing technical interface for queries.
