Job summary

Webster Groves School District seeks a Systems Engineer to own and evolve its core infrastructure, including networking, servers, identity management, endpoints, and security tools. You’ll work with autonomy on end-to-end projects from planning to documentation.

As primary technical contributor, you’ll administer Windows Server environments, Google Workspace, and enterprise security tooling, while ensuring FERPA compliance and robust data protection across multiple sites.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• 2–5 years of experience administering enterprise network and systems infrastructure.
• Experience in K-12 districts or multi-site environments preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design, configure, and maintain LAN/WAN infrastructure across sites.
• Administer Active Directory and Google Workspace including group policies.
• Manage servers, virtualization, backups, and recovery procedures.
• Oversee endpoint management and security tooling; monitor patching and FERPA compliance.
• Collaborate across teams and document complex systems end-to-end.
