Job summary

Oaks Christian School seeks a Senior IT Systems Engineer to lead the design, security, and operation of its enterprise infrastructure. You will oversee networking, servers, cloud services, backups, and endpoint management while collaborating with IT leadership to align technology with school objectives.

The ideal candidate has five years+ of senior infrastructure experience, CCNA, and experience with Cisco and Microsoft ecosystems; a Bachelor's in CS/IT or equivalent is preferred.

Qualifications

• Five years or more in senior-level infrastructure, systems engineering, or network engineering.
• Experience designing, implementing, and supporting enterprise-class network and server environments.
• Hands-on with Cisco and Microsoft technologies in complex environments.
• Experience with virtualization, backups, disaster recovery, and cybersecurity best practices.
• CCNA certification required; CCNP or higher preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, maintain, and optimize enterprise infrastructure systems and services.
• Administer and support network infrastructure, including routers, switches, firewalls, wireless, IP telephony.
• Manage physical and virtual servers, storage, cloud services, and related components.
• Monitor performance, availability, and capacity for reliable operations.
• Maintain backups, disaster recovery, and business continuity; ensure security controls.
