Job summary

Applied Materials is seeking a Systems Engineer to lead the copper Electrochemical Deposition platform, coordinating mechanical, electrical, controls, automation, and process subsystems to achieve wafer-level performance and throughput.

You will perform root-cause investigations, drive design trades, and conduct hands-on integration testing to meet reliability targets, with releases through PLM. Travel up to 25% and relocation eligibility are supported.

Qualifications

• Master's or PhD in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience.
• Experience with 3D CAD and NX or equivalent tooling.
• Strong data analysis and simulation capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Technically lead engineering projects and own end-to-end system delivery.
• De-construct performance requirements and partner across disciplines.
• Own issue resolution and interface management across domains.
• Drive tool bring-up, integration testing, and qualification.
• Communicate results and release documentation through PLM systems.
