Job summary

United Launch Alliance is seeking a senior leader to head the Configuration Management, Tech Services and Simulation Engineering team within Central Engineering Services. You will guide development, maintenance, and release of complex engineering data using Teamcenter PLM, NX and Creo CAD tools, spanning mechanical/structural, fluid, and electrical disciplines.

The role requires driving process improvements, mentoring staff, and leading initiatives to standardize CM practices and product

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in a related technical or relevant field.
• 8+ years related work exp, incl. 2+ years in people management or team lead roles.
• Demonstrated leadership and teamwork capabilities.
• Ability to resolve personnel issues and maintain team cohesion.
• Experience with EIA-649, ISO and AS9100 requirements.
• Extensive knowledge of Teamcenter or related PLM systems and GD&T.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and develop Configuration Management, Tech Services and Simulation Eng employees.
• Deliver world-class drawings and Model Based Definitions with GD&T and PMI.
• Collaborate across organizational boundaries to promote CM processes and product lifecycle awareness.
• Ensure compliance for engineering release and documentation standards.
• Resolve escalated customer or technical issues and lead standardization efforts.
• Represent Central Engineering Services in cross-department initiatives.
