Job summary

United Launch Alliance (ULA) is seeking a Design Modeling and Configuration Engineer to maintain software, hardware, and documentation baselines using Teamcenter Review. You will process engineering changes, ensure compliance with standards, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to manage complex configurations.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree and at least 4 years of related experience, with familiarity in CAD tools and PLM systems, and an ability to work in a high-rigor aerospace

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical, electrical, aerospace, nuclear, manufacturing or related technical field from an accredited college or university.
• Proven Manufacturing Engineering experience including product structure, parts, drawings and requirements management.
• CAD modeling experience via Zuken, NX, Creo or similar tools.
• Experience in high rigor environments (aerospace, automotive, security systems, etc.).
• Familiarity with PLM and data management tools for configuration management.

Responsibilities

• Document, review, approve, and communicate engineering change requests in a timely manner.
• Generate, populate, and submit change requests and perform impact analyses.
• Execute and implement change notices with complete change implementation activities.
• Analyze change process to measure cost, speed, and rework.
• Manage program configuration data for critical design gate reviews.
• Collaborate with CM Analysts to ensure data is captured, recorded and distributed.
• Analyze EBOM/MBOM in Teamcenter for compliance to standards.
• Support configuration management reviews and audits (FCA/PCA).
• Audit as-built records in Teamcenter (EBOM, MBOM).
• Coordinate with Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality Assurance, and Supply Chain on proposed changes.
