Job summary

AT&T Global Public Sector seeks a Lead System Engineer to design, implement, operate, and maintain mission communications systems for a U.S. Government customer in the Washington, DC metro area.

The role focuses on multi-vendor environments, SIP-based real-time communications, and secure, scalable services. The position is full-time and located on the customer’s premises in Chantilly, Virginia, with on-call responsibilities and occasional travel within the Washington Metro Area.

Qualifications

• B.S. in Computer Science, Information Technology, Telecommunications or similar (flexible by experience).

Responsibilities

• Deploy, configure, and operate mission systems in physical and virtual environments.
• Engage with customer, engineering resources and vendors for services.
• Maintain Linux/Windows systems and monitor logs for security and performance.
