Job summary

Par Health, Inc. is seeking a Staff Synthetic Chemist to design and execute complex multi-step syntheses for analytical reference standards (APIs, impurities, degradants, metabolites). You will lead the Reference Standards Program, coordinate with Analytical R&D, QC, and Regulatory Affairs, and ensure compliance with ICH and cGMP.

Qualifications

• Ph.D. in Organic Chemistry or MS with substantial industrial experience.
• Extensive expertise in multi-step organic synthesis and purification.
• Strong knowledge of cGMP, FDA, and ICH guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Design, troubleshoot, and execute multi-step syntheses to generate reference standards.
• Perform structural elucidation using NMR, MS, IR to confirm structures.
• Lead reference standard program including CoA generation and requalification.
• Collaborate with process chemistry and analytical teams on impurities and methods.
• Ensure regulatory compliance and contribute to technical reports.
